Well i couldnt resist an early morning ride into work today as the sun is shining and i didnt get chance to get out on her over the weekend.

When i take my bike to work ( City Centre Apple store ) i park it across the road in full view of the shop windows so i can keep an eye on it.

I just looked up and there is a chinese guy sat on my bike with 3 of his friends taking photos of him.

I walked out shouting my head of and he says " Its ok , just taking photos "

What a cheek, I told him to get the hell off and he looked at me bewildered that im not happy about him sitting on my 4 month old bike.

Tamping now and searching Alarms on the internet lol.

I couldnt believe it , I would never have the cheek to do something like that. It has made me not want to bring my bike to work again which is unfair.

A friend has just suggested bringing a cover with me so nobody can touch it which sounds a good idea

No that is just WRONG. To touch your wheels without permission is one thing, to try and placate you that he was "just taking photo's" is a whole new layer of insult on top. If you'd goosed his missus and then said the same thing, would that have satisfied his sense of outrage? I think probably not. I've got one of the data system alarms that gets increasingly angry the more you touch it until it looses it's rag big time and until now I've thought it more of a nusiance than anything else when moving the bike around the garage and at petrol stations, but if it scares the great unwashed off, so be it. It's just a shame I can't rig it to some kind of cattle prod too.

Yes a remote activated shocker under the seat would of been ideal , Im defiantly installing an alarm now. I was in two minds until this happened

He would have had photos taken for him in A&E if he sat on my pride and joy, funny how the Japs/Chinese are photo crazy though

Too true. It's just outragious how someone could justify such actions. It's actually easier to understand some skank messing with it to nick it or vandalise it than to justify believing it's okay to play with it.

I wish I knew you worked at Apple, I would have asked for dizzy on the iPad I just bought! Which store mate?

Btw, sitting on your bike is tantamount to breaking into your house IMO... Cheeky fekker.

might seam trivial to non biker, but we know different!!! I went to a friends house and he had a photo of his teenage son sitting on an R6, when I enquired as to whose bike it was he said he didn't know but just told his son to quickly jump on and he would snap a photo of him. I told him he had been very lucky that the owner had not returned and defended his/her property and I strongly advised he didnt repeat this behaviour!!
