So after 3 wonderful days off I managed to get just 2 hours to my self and get some more miles towards the magic 500 and see if my mod to the rear hugger works? My chief mechanic Bats has assured me that that's close enough. so that's it now till the IOM next Friday. So as usual in pictures the story so far This is me this is, and I ain't smiling. So I headed off at quarter to five in an afternoon. Just about the best time of the day for every man and his dog to be out on the road. Did usual. M55 to kirkham for some heat to get into the tires. I got as far as this place. Yeah you got me. My weekend retreat. Anyway let's have a look at how the rear hugger coped with doing it's stuff on my bumpy as ever route. It worked. The masking tape I put round as a guide has not been touched. Yippee! So I have a smoke and walk round. I'm still not happy. Not even the good news of the hugger managed to make me smile. That's me bike that is. Out side the institute. Right. I got as far as Hornby. The roads started to get some wet so I headed for home. The ride back was a bit poo actually. Bad thing living on the west coast. The sun at me all the way home. I didn't feel comfy but we've put that down to me being in the wrong frame of mind. I've had a furious 3 days off. Haha I like that. Days off. Nah still sound shit. Anyway moving on. I stopped outside here for a smoke break. No irony intended. Home at last. And here's me speedo reading. Thanks for looking. Beer and kebab now. Ready to go to work for a rest. Oh, and do my oil change.
Yeah, it's free labour for first one Giv. But to be fair it's a piss easy job, I do like to do the work myself. I really don't want to sound a tit. But I'm the one riding it. It gives me confidence in the bike, knowing it's spot on. I ain't going into detail or getting involved with bad mouthing anyone, because I ain't. But let's just say I'm not confident in the workmanship I've seen so far for someone to have their hands on my bike.
Agreed .However i think the first one is very important as for as warrenty goes .I know what you mean as when Carnells were the bees knees i bought bikes from them had the service then took it home and changed the oil as i always thought they would either put shite brand in or not at all .I have to say that i trust Hunts Manchester 100%.
Sorry Dan. Good point, I forgot to mention, so long as I buy Honda parts from them and keep within the service limits. Stamps will be given.

Great thread Gary, loving the bike, loving the country gaff, even like ye olde substation. But you sure is a grumpy looking bastid.
I'm not to bad in general Ken But yes. On this occasion tbh it was more a set up for the thread than my genuine self I like to think it's again worked on this occasion? After all if you just see a miserable look, it's distracted the viewer from what a real ugly Mofo I am Giv, yes everything for the service. Including crush washer and socket for the filter.
