Right. I'm sick of searching the sodding internet so I figure I'll ask you lot :D

I have a bit of a struggle getting helmets to fit. I have a long oval head which looks like a feckin' rugby ball when viewed from above. I've had a few different helmets and they've all caused the same red spot on my forehead because the helmet's too round in shape. I've only know of two long oval helmets which fit right. The Arai Viper GT (which I have) and the Shark RSi. Both of these models have now been discontinued and there's only the scrappy graphics that nobody wanted on clearance :D

The Viper GT hasn't been replaced in the UK line up and the RSi's been replaced with the Shark Vision-R which I've heard some bad reviews on sooooo the question is, do any of you know of a long-oval fitting helmet other than these two?

RSI has been replaced the the Speed-R from Shark. The Vision-R was launched last year and is a touring helmet rather than sports.

Rich - have a gander at this website they have reviewed helmets and listed them by internal shape Motorcycle Helmet Shapes - webBikeWorld

Schuberth helmets are quite long and provide good cover below the jaw line.

Good luck sorting it - Steve

thats true and as much as i would love to ride around with a helmet that looks as though it has spunk written on the side of it, i think i will give it a miss

It's obviously been designed for a dick head. Best left alone in that case.
