Awesome pics Shanes, love the big smile on her chops my lad also 8 wants one now ! and the other 2 boys 4 and 2 ...... Think I will have to say no or they will bankrupt me Second pic is so stop talking and let me get on for f sake
Awsome mate, I have a little z50 for my mates kids to blast round the yard on if they like and my partners girl now 14 loves the bikes too, me Val and little Katie always go for a blast together as often as we can but your girls way ahead in skill by the look of it there are some YouTube vids of a young girl wheelieing a ttr125 for miles very cool... So what's the deal mate she going to be the first female gp star...
Nice one shanes. Thats one very lucky little lass, and you're a jammy bugger too, living in the sun and playing ut all weekend on them gorgeous toys. But I don't hate ya for it cos i'm not jealous. Pffttt... Lol
AAAAAwww, how cute is that??? I would be a very proud dad if either of my daughters had a smile that big on being presented with a bike. But as one is 21 now with a baby and the other is 6 and has shown no interest in bikes, i'll have to hope the two lads do it instead. One is 17 and is thrilled at riding round on a CG125 with drops on it, the other is 18 months and never has a toy car or bike out of his hands, its all he has ever wanted since he could hold onto something, car or bike. My money is on the young 'un, the old 'un is too fond of his beer!
Gotta start em young Leigh with me had an LT50 quad at 2 yrs Moved up to the PW50 pictured below and I'm planning on a KTM auto next to start grass track
My youngest lad is 18 months and he cant even talk yet the idle liitle sod. On a bike at 2?? I dont think so. At the moment he just points at stuff and screams till he gets it, it could be milk, a spoon, breakfast, a toy car that has rolled out of reach, anything. As long as he gets what he wants by pointing and screaming i dont think he'll bother learning to talk, but at least its communication of a sort.
You wil be surprised how quick they pick things up mate , Just get them on bit by bit and before you know it they are away lol. We bought the quad coz obviously he could not ride 2 wheels . restricted the throttle to walking pace and he picked it in no time . this is him on the first cheap quad i got before the Suzuki LT50 quad 7 November 2008 08:36 | Facebook
my daughter was 2.5 when she first started riding the peewee 50 with the stabilizers on it , her throttle control is better now than a lot of guys i see riding on the road , she has been riding jet ski's for the last 2 years as well , stand ups and sit downs , she has ridden to the island 11 km off the coat on a 260 hp seadoo that will do 70 mph on the water , she sat on around 50 mph most of the way as wanted to beat my friend . starting them very young gives them a lot of throttle feel , but just make sure you have a throttle stop fitted as the little peewee 50 really get up a go once they wind up she go away from me once not long after she first started and no stop fitted , i could run fast enough to catch her end result big tank slapper and it spat her over the handle bars , 2 weeks latter she was out there ring again but daddy had fitted a throttle stop by then :-}}}
Shane your daughter looks great and soo happy on her bike and in new leathers. Wish my 6 and 9 yo would ride but as it took me 10 years to learn myself, long story short both my mum and wife's family don't like bikes. The wife's for no other reason than plain ignorance but hay ho. I'll get my girls pillion one day
It's funny this, as I come across it a lot, but I have to say that my family and closest have always encouraged me to ride, except one mate who got very upset when I was born again biking, but he got born again christian shortly afterwards so I pointed out that his soul was now in far more danger as he was no longer hedging his bets. But apart from him, nobody has ever given me a hard time over it. They have got me insured up to the bollocks mind.
