Is your back wheel in line and central? Do not go off the chain adjuster markings on the swinger. You need a straight edge or a plumb line.

It's either rear wheel misalignment, rear wheel spacers on wrong or front sprocket on backwards!:(

When I was cleaning my chain this weekend, as I just got a paddock stand, I also noticed that the inner rear sprocket definitely is wearing, as it is bright steel showing through, everywhere else covered in gunk... Guess I should check the front sprocket as well!!

I am going to check this weekend for alignment, as the markings on the swingarm are lined up, but still definitely wearing on the inner edge of the sprocket teeth.

Gotta find some string!! I have aligned a bike with string once and the instructor tried to show me up and put a laser aligner on after wards... He said he could not get it more spot on himself, even WITH the laser!!!

IMO string is the most accurate unless you have a laser that cost about £2000. They are, generally speaking, only accurate to 0.5mm/mtr.
