Sorry one and all for my neglect for the forum this week. L has reliably informed in no uncertain terms me that I have worked over 93 hours this week and she is very mildly pissed off! I use that term loosely on the basis that I am to totally worn out and have no fight left in me and going to bed very soon to catch up on sleep and be my normal cheeky chappy self in the morning. Who needs alcohol when sleep depravation does the same thing? One board of management meeting , Six flights, four non English language meetings and licking the arse holes of people you wouldn’t give the time of day to take there toll. Thank fcuk it’s the weekend. Night night I am off to bed. So what have I missed ?
Thanks Giv. Thanks for nothing Ken. Bit of a row last night after L took my blood pressure (which she has to do each week) and the lowest of 3 readings was 164/125. It’s been creeping up over the last few weeks so back to the doc’s for me when I get back from Europe again next week. Hopefully it will go back down when I have a few days leave after next week or I might have a doctor enforced extended leave period. Not good is it.
My doctor insists I keep my BP that high. Apparently it's the only way to push it through my cholesterol encrusted arteries.
FFS BP is even higher this evening, even after much sleep and R&R, must be all this bloody rain the fact my bike is un ridden, getting cold and damp and un loved. If it keeps on like this I am going to have to trade it for a jet ski. Not really surprised the old bp is on the up again it’s been a very hard and stressful few months and the old un exercised, alcohol, Gauloise Red riddled body is rebelling big time. Going to try and get a appointment with the docs in the morning, but what ever he says I can’t stop the work roller coaster just now, there is to much at stake and no one else that does what I do as well as me and they will only balls it up if I drop the ball at this critical time before the Olympics. By the way, thanks for the comment KRL but the doctor doesn’t know as I only have to report the weekly readings every 2 months during my check up.
Hypertension don't work that way dude. Backing off for a bit ain't going to put it right. Concerted lifestyle change is what's needed, but you don't need me to tell you this, do you.
Just got back from the doctors where a very pretty young nurse stuck needles and probes into me and guess what, she found some blood in my alcohol and it was warm, which is more than can be said of my ex wife. Results next week.
Bloody hell, she must have been patient, Waiting for your fag encrusted heart to beat and squeeze a drop out.
Don’t worry you will only feel a prick she said. Yes I thought you keep rubbing against me like that and I wont be the only one.
There`s an old saying, you cant do anything to make your life longer, but you can do a hell of a lot to make it shorter. You need to step back a bit, take time out and change your living habits, otherwise you`ll come a cropper the way you`re going. Cool your boots man, and chiiilllll.
