Rain, rain, F'ing rain, my god if it rains on me again I am going to go mental.

Its been over a week of rain apart from a mostly dry weekend in parts and the forecast on the BBC is for more rain and showers up to at least Sunday, then I read in the paper today that they forecast it ending the 7th May in the south and 16th May in the north.

What has done me in is that we had 21 degrees for a couple of weeks recently so I stupidly got into spring fu#$ing mode.

WTF God, Gulf Stream or Michael Fish!!! Sort it out!!

well it was lovely coming back from Gatwick and Saturday, since then I've been in work.

Being out of the country for over 2 weeks , it had taken me some getting used to. When I went it was as you said warm and lovely, Now crap.

fingers crossed for a good summer at some point

There's a nasty rumour that contrary to popular belief motorbikes do not shrivel up when exposed to rain...........................come on guys! there are only two weather conditions I will not ride in, fog and snow.
FFS they can all be washed down and polished to a gleam when you come back in.
Like most people I don't prefer to ride in the rain but I see it as another skill to have in my locker, for when it does catch me when I go out in our unpredictable British weather!!

?Yes I know they are our P and J but give it a try.
We could always have a group buy on heated grips :D

Sometimes the weather is quite fitting, got up today head off to my workshop see a crash site from a car the night before then get told its my mates son Josh who was killed the night before, today it rains in my heart too... :( and will prob rain in my mates for the rest of his life, his son was only 20 and the passenger of the driver who remains in a coma.... Shame another mate had to rush to the sceine only yards from his Dads home (the local pub near me) only to be faced with total carnarge and to watch poor young Josh pass away mins later... I was moaning about this and that this morning, life, the weather you know all those things that seem to matter.... Anyway do not feel sorry for me but do say a word to the power that be for my mate who has had such a hard time of late and now this.... RIP Josh we will all miss you....

So sorry to her about that Arthur, I had a similar experience some years back, two colleagues from work had a crash, the passenger died and the driver survived, I happened to be first on the scene, I tried my best to help him but he passed away at the scene that was bad, but the most horrific thing I have ever had to do is try to explain that to his poor father the next day what had happened, being a dad now I can only feel the smallest part of the loss I saw in that poor mans eyes that day.

I pass on to you and the family my deepest condolences and respects and hope his parents, family and friends find the strength to get though this in the best way that they can.
