    Rarely take my cameras with me anymore. I spent so many years missing events cos I was seeing them through a viewfinder I made the conscious decision to remember them with my eyes. So I don't take them with me to weddings, much to people's annoyance sometimes, or sporting events or the like. I'll take a compact or a palm order on holiday with me, but I try not to be driven by the need to use them all the time.

    Thing is, I've got tens of thousands of negs and trannies and terabytes of pictures stored away doing sod all and worth nothing to no one but me.

    It'll make a hell of a toxic bonfire when I'm gone though.

    I reckon your right Ken, our memory is a wonderful thing, it is so I'm told one of the most powerful computers known? perish the thought it should ever be damaged to such an extent we could never again recall any specific event in our lives. A picture could never tell to a person the full story of it's origin But...


    MrB unless you have a USB stuck out your arse, ignore Ken and don't forget the bloody camera:D

    I'm doing Lincoln down to Gibraltar at the start of July to pick up the wife then back again.

    Outbound leg will be: Lincoln - Dover / Calais crossing - France - Spain - Gibraltar.

    Inbound leg will be: Gibraltar - Spain (Santender) - Santender Ferry to Portsmouth - Lincoln

    Next Thursday me and 3 others (2 blades , zx6r & Gsxr 750) are boarding the ferry from hull to Rotterdam and heading back to the ring again for our first yearly trip :)

    Weather looks shite....but on the plus side I've already got a two lap ticket on route off eBay for £40 so hey Ho :)

    I think we're gonna get wet.....but you know what? If we don't.......it's gonna be AMAZING as ever ;)

    I,m on a Wheeltrax tour mid June. Will be 3rd year in a row, best 4 days biking in the Eiffel mountains you could wish for. Will be calling in for an evening at the Ring aswell.

    what dates you there mate?... i'll be rocking up Fri 15th in the afternoon on our way back from Italy... hoping to get a couple laps in that afternoon before heading to calais sat morning :(

    Bologna.... Booked in for the ducati tour... Coming down through France, route napoleon, nice, bologna, austria, black forest, ring and home!
