I got a phone call this morning from one of the guys who was supposed to be going to Spain on the lads bike holiday with us on the 1st June. It transpired that his insurance needs paying before we go and he has only got enough money for either the holiday or his insurance. He was declared bankrupt in September last year so he cant even have his insurance in monthly instalments, so he cant go. 4 weeks before we load the bikes on the trailers and bloody go!! Tosser! 6 weeks ago we were ready to write him off and had someone else ready to go, waiting for the green light to book his hols, this guy came back and assured us he was going. Now the guy who was all set to take his place can get the hols off coz its too short notice. Anyone else fancy a week on the Med coast of Spain ripping around on some lovely roads?
Typical. We've ad same prob with our tip to Germany, had 2 people pull out last week, we o in 3 weeks

I've had times when it seems i'm let down by someone every corner i turn, there is nothing more annoying, when you have to say "oh shit, well, ok, not problem, if you can't you can't" when all you wanna say is "you wanker, you've bolloxed it all up for us now you stupid bastard!!"
Pretty much what i said at the end was, "............oh shit, oh bollocks, well, ok, no problem, well, actually, its a big problem, but if you can't you can't" If i cant find anyone to go by the end of this week i'll have to re do all the costs for 7 of us and then break the news of the extra cost to the rest of the guys and hope no one else drops out, or we go round again. I've been doing this stuff since 1989 and i've never had this much trouble, even when someone nicked my ZX9R 4 weeks before we went to Biarritz in 2002. Ended up going on a ZZR600 with new Bridgetone Supersport tyres fitted, had a whale of a time.
Feel for you dude!! This is why we always book early and pay in full... decide when we are booking with plenty of notice and on that date book regardless... If your coming great, if you can't book then you'll have to sort yourself out and if you do book but then can't come - tough shite... Pisses me off when everyone else has to cover their share so that way it doesn't happen...
