While I desperately want to see Valentino do well on the Ducati, it is just not going to happen, the past couple of years have taken there toll on the legend.

I agree that, if it is his choice it would be a good time to leave and look at racing cars instead, not because I want him to, I will be devastated to see him leave, but because I think he could leave with his head held high, not leave injured or bitter after a desperate attempt to go out on a high because that's what people expect, he has given us years of the best racing ever witnessed, that's enough for me :)

Its just a shame that Marco will not be there to take over as the personality in MotoGP :( RIP Marco

100% agree, Marco was going to be my replacement for a rider i enjoy to watch race. Hoping Rossi stays for 1 more year on a bike he can win on and leave on a high. as for racing cars that would be great to see and watch. GT racing maybe at le mans etc....

I wonder if Vale & Burgess will get a little retirement villa together? Oh to have made your fortune & be able to retire at 34! Lucky git.

It could also be a cunning stunt to get an uber pay deal for a 2013 ride, although in this age of budget cuts & austerity, that probably won't happen.

Imagine Vale coming to WSB & getting up to his old antics with Biaggi!

If He pitches up to the next race in a brand new R8 roadster, he's staying.
