OK I have read and used a few different types of LED lights in work and want to get a few for the Home.

Can anyone point me in a direction other than Ebay for well priced LED lights such as Small screw in bulbs etc..

Anyone know much about LED lights ? other than they are expensive to buy, cheap to run and last a long time.

    Anyone...............................

really just looking at what is best for normal household use. How many watts is 1 to 4 watt in LED compared to a nroaml bulb and mainly where is best to get LED bulbs other than Wickes and B&Q who charge you a arm and a leg

    So not much really ;)

I've been thinking of LEDs for a while and just read your post matt it's a no brainer really isn't it, but the initial outlay is a killer, I've got 12 downstairs and 8 up and at nearly £10 a bulb gulp.

I was reading a us tech article which was saying about a average of 23 life. With new LEDs and how the tech is coming on so much very quick, prices are coming down fast. Well hoping they do. Also they can save 90% can be saved on running costs

As said the Bly killer is getting them in the first place.

I have 15 mini halogen lights down stairs in the kitchen, lounge and dining room. Which I hate, they blow often and never last so will be the first area wan to change
