Dropped the bike off for a service, I have a CBF 500 to use tomorrow :D

It's stealth black, and sounds like a lawn mower

I might not want to swap back ! :)

Bet you won't beg for pics of this bad boy lol

Oi, my daily is a CBF500 and I do have pics. ;) It's left outside all year round, used all year round no cover little maintenance and starts on the button. Admittedly it sounds like a bag of spanners as I think the cam chains loose but 8000 miles (13500 total) and the only thing I've done is oil and filter and c&s.

She's a gem, bit rusty but honest.

    That's the one :)

Mines got 20000 on it, it's ok better than what I got last time, just feels so alien after the blade

    No offence meant mrB :D

Mine also is a little rusty, adds to the character

That pic was taken when I got it, she looks a lot less happy these days. £1500 to £2500 for a goodun but as said bullet proof can chuck em about and saves the p&j for fun days, you also get to appreciate how much nicer your "other" bike is :) For a winter hack, ideal.

Will keep an eye out as my possible new job may be a 100 mile round trip commute to Bristol and that might be ideal :)

Ah good luck with the possible new job.

Cheap to run, economical, sure it's no rocket ship but for A to B reliability I rate it.

Lol apart from the lack of heating, bed, running water lol.

If I was commuting to filton then using a bike would be a big plus

I know the traffic is horrible, but would be in for work a 7 and finish 6 ish so should not be to bad, but while it is possible I would use the bike, or in winter months find a B and B for the three nights I would be up there :)

I too could do with one of these.. as my daily commute is 110 Mile (Truro-Torpoint) Cracking roads if i avoid the A30.
I may have to trawl Auto Trader!!

I know I should not say this but I loved the ride in this morning :D the wrong side of 70 felt like 200 mph, when I was pootling along, comfy and smiling to myself looking at the country side :)

Not the blade but I still like it a lot !

How about a company car? A Trafalgar Class would be nice.
