Fitted Diablo Rosso Corsas to my 09 HRC blade a month or so back and can say they're the best Pirellis I've had, been on Diablos since 2003 on a RSV mille then 05 blade.
Just done just over 2000 miles on a trip to France including the Pyrenees around the Andorra area, one day of 250 miles in the pissing rain, conclusions are they are better than Diablo Corsa 3, wet grip is good for the road. Grip and rolling side to side in the Pyrenees was confidence inspiring and there's plenty of life in em yet and they're not squared off.

Do you find them better than the corsa 3 in the dry or just the wet?

The tyre fitter where i go said I'm better off with the corsa 3 as the newer Rosso isn't as grippy but last alot longer.

For me the Rosso Corsa is better all round than the Diablo Corsa III. Wet weather was certainly as good as the Corsa III, no dramas with them. In the dry I'd say the Rosso corsa is better on grip, it's one of those weird 'feel' things but they just seem to grab the road more (best way I can describe the feeling)
The tyre fitter may be confusing the standard Rosso when he says the Diablo Corsa III is better, in which case he's right, but not if you compare Corsa III to Rosso Corsa.
Not uncommon in my experience for people to get confused, they're all called similar names, check out the Pirelli Uk website there's comparison charts which explain the differences

Yeh he must be getting confused, the diablo rosso corsa is pirelli's top "road" tyre for grip, not including the supercorsa which is a track tyre that can be used on the road, the rosso II is more a sports touring tyre,

    Jaime,

just found this thread, wondered how you got on with the Racetec K3's? Thinking about getting a pair to run first part of the season as ive a few track days then swap out for the sportsmarts later?

Had k2's before as scrubs for the old track bike but never tried a K3 road tyre, any good?

Absolutely bloody brilliant !!!! best tyre I have had, wearing well even after trackday at Caldwell and dyno run for custom map, grip in the dry like nothing else and are confidence inspiring in the damp/wet, I would recommend them to anyone, I have a mate who does club racing and he uses k1 front and k2 rear for track and road.

I managed a consistent 1.49's (which arnt fantastic i know, as tristan palmer passed me as if I was stood still, running his blades engine in :)) first time out at cadwell holding back a little due to the bike being just 8 weeks old :) and they were brilliant, I could feel everything that was going on through the front and the rear even when it did break free in the damp under a lot of duress it was no surprise and was not scary at all.

I am not a great rider but I know I like these a lot, a world on from the crap that came fitted to the bike :) hope this helps a bit
