just picked up a speedfight scooter for my daughter "w " reg. 317kms on the speedo from new , mint condition. well chuffed.
I would have thought it would go for much more. Mainly as most would rust after 10 years. Not many left and even less in this condition
hi rob absolutely loving the blade ,it has over 2000 miles on the clock now , which isnt bad considering the poor weather. really looking forward to the tt in a couple of weeks, that mountain section is calling me. almost flipped it last weekend .. the road dipped away just as the power kicked in , all i could think as it went up was ... shit i am not going to have a bike for the tt.
we go out on tuesday am from liverpool and return friday afternoon , staying in onchan . due to bad ferry crossings some are having to sail back just before the senior race and some later in the day. one lad has just backed out at the last minute so we have a wasted place unless he gets a new job in the next week. it has been a nightmare , i originally booked for 8 of us 1 is getting divorced so he couldnt go another forgot to book his holidays off from work ,even though he booked his ferry in june last year!!! and like i say one lad has lost his job. i wont be sorting it out for next year.they can make their own bloody arrangements.
lol..... well just miss each other as were out on the 30th and back on the 4th.......... stopping in the palace hotel in douglas....luxury ! lol
