Excellent, i think someone bought one of these Constands and was very happy with it, unlike the Envy product which is difficault to obtain from the poor company.
Please do bob as I might just have one of these, think the video of it in use looks spot on so simple, soon as you've used it let us know what you think please.
I have the very same one. There were issues with it and i have modified the fixing bracket to my own design also. I am very happy with it now. the issues were with the pins that do the lifting. They were the wrong diameter and length. I did them a drawing in the end so they got it right. Here she is on the stand. This is my design fixing plate. Original fixing plate First pin sent was 2mm to small in Ø Basic stand
It looks a really good piece of kit for the money , no more risking it on a dodgy front paddock stand under the forks , will let you guys know if the pin sizes are ok , hopefully they have took on board the information Steve gave them
It really is a good bit of kit. I highly recommend it. Even small things like spinning the bike round in the garage to make it easier to ride out! The initial problems were well worth sorting. The modified bracket made it a much better item in general. The original bracket tends to rotate slightly under the weight of the bike. It is not dangerous, it just makes it awkward to align the pins next time you put it on the bike. I am having one made for another member on her at the moment. It does take some time though as my toolmaker just fits it in as and when. If i get chance tonight, i will do a bit of video of putting it on the bike and spinning it round.
Sounds good to me then Steve , will let you know when it arrives what the mount bracket is like !!!!!!
that could be so handy may have to invest. do you think the wheels work smoothly on tarmac/concrete floors.??
Legs don't fold away. My floor is concrete. As long ling as the floor hasn't got big holes or ruts I guess it will work.
thanks steve. edited my post as having looked again could see that legs are fixed. looks so easy though.
Do you reckon it would also work on a carpeted floor?? My guess it would be harder to turn though, but how hard? Steve my garage is same as yours and turning the bike around inside ready to ride out is a bloody great way of doing things. Thanks for putting the vid up .
Looking at your garage floor makes me want to go paint mine , very clean , top video , you should be on commision lol
I was thinking of getting the Envy stand for my 954 blade,..................... is there an issue with it ? I am only waiting for them to develop the pins etc.
