Who's having this go by local to them?

between 4-7PM tomorrow they will be passing my work and home

So leaving work early, 1 to get home, 2 so I can watch it with the family.
Not into the Olympics myself But may be the only time in my life and family we get a chance to watch a torch close the roads;)

can understand why people are selling them. but putting them for sale at that much is different than getting the cash for them in your hands

    But how much!!

Now there's a competition, get your bike parked on the road and see who can get theirs on the tele ??

It passed my sisters house on the bus? Comes near me in a few weeks, I understand people wanting to see it and I respect the reasons why but it doesn't float my boat.

We took the kids to Exeter to see it... What a waste of time! Was crazy busy so couldn't see much. The money it must cost for each town city it passes through must be astronomical!

yes seen it in falmouth on the first morning. town was mega busy but worth watching. a guy who works in same place as me done the run and sold his torch the same day. got his name in the sun on sunday and had a lot of shit from work mates. he was boasting how he had pre wrote the ebay add ready to go but don,t think he expected to get found out publicly. not keen on the bloke anyway ( thinks hes a bit above everyone) and don,t think its right what he,s done. see some on ebay fetching silly money but whether they pay up is another matter. different if it was a 1 off item but its 1 of 8000 pieces ( although a damn nice piece to have).

We are sick to the back teeth of the whole thing. We applied for a few tickets and got sod all. No surprise that. Second round last week, applied for closing ceremony, £665 a pop for A class tickets. Initial thoughts were F that, then, once in a lifetime, go for it. Goggled where A class seats are in the stadium, nothing, no information anywhere on the webtonet. Called a contact of mine at LOCOG that I deal with regarding Olympic transportation who told me he can’t give out that information. Charming they want £665 as seat and are not repared to tell you where the seats are. We decided to go for it and, guess what……no fcuking ticket available. Sick to the back teeth is an under statement. Annual leave booked and we plan to get as far away from it as possible.

Freedom, we applied for loads and got fcuk all... My company is building it and they can't get anything.... The whole thing is a joke!! Yet I've still got to go to work throughout the whole poxy thing and my trains will be bringing every muppet up from Kent and France for that matter as they pass through stratford so my travel will be a nightmare but they will still be charging me £483 for the privilege for a months disrupted service!!

The olympics is all about London, but nothing about londoners!

    And I'm done....

Agree with that but feel about us lot that are not Londoners. If you feel left out how do we feel!

But saying that the watching the torch go up the high street with my kids who enjoyed it will be the highlight of m Olympics.

I did not apply for any tickets and had no intention. I may watch some of it for the hotties

All I know is some arsehole got 157k on eBay for a torch all that money should go to charity. They are alright then. Stick the olympics up your arse that's what I say. People loosing their jobs loads of homeless people business shutting down and now we are back in a double dip recession again. BUT these CU*TS spend billions on this shit. Can't wait for it to be over. Rant over!
