Hi guys just back in from the hospital. Basically Ive got whiplash from the bang on the pavement. The girlfriend has deep bruising on both legs and back and a badly sprained wrist. No broken bones so hopefully she'll be back to full fitness asap. Just hope the insurance pays out pronto so we have a bike for our summer hols.
Time and time again you here this bad news very sorry also to hear what you and your good lady are going through .Keep a very good diary of events from the startand make the bastards pay .Ps glad you are still with us thats the only positive.
sorry to hear about your accident colin, glad you and your girl got off fairly lightly. hope your insurance pays out quickly, a mate had a nightmare getting payed out recently, he was knocked off his sp1 on a roundabout by someone in the wrong lane. he had to go to court and it took over a year to get any cash.
I'm fuming that this happened while I was away and so couldn't add my unique and sympathetic comment. However. I am so thankful that you're both walking wounded only and devastated that the XX is no more. I actually found one on holiday and was waxing lyrical to Jeanette and our friends about what an excellent find yours was mate and that if I ever got the touring bug I would follow your example and try and find one, little knowing your horrible news. I hope to gods I didn't jinx you mate.
In my defence, before. I left I did tell everyone not to do anything until I got back. Even I can't spread myself thin enough to protect you all from Jersey. And even if I tried, the wind blowing from Cherbourg would have splashed it all back over me, anyway.
Good to see u back Ken. I'm pretty gutted about the bike also. I've sourced another 1 locally and just need to wait for the claim to come through. Honestly can't recommend it more for touring. Watching the bike being towed away looking sorry for itself was a gutter
That's what happens when you eat too much Garlic, and you know how the white flag waving frenchies like their Garlic. Bit the same in this house this morning after Chicken vindaloo and garlic nan last night.
