Bladebhoy,Yep A85 what a cracking road i also loved the A83 to inverary. Its so hard to ride in Scotland you want to look at the fantastic views but before you know it,your in your zone and giggling like an idiot and enjoying the lurvly smooth tarmac and twistys.I hardly noticed the big snow capped mountains. What a place carnt wait to go back.
thats a run i do a lot, a82 loch lomond, a83 to inverary, a 819 to dalmally, a85 to tyndrum then back home via callander. glad you enjoyed yourself, the weather has been terrible recently.
We had 2 good days, just one hailstone shower. But it was bloody cold, however Scotland is beautiful even in crap weather.I'm going to see if we can make another trip up again before the end of summer. It might be warm enough to get my leathers on.
Ash, your 'baby' looks quite predatory in those surroundings. I'm surprised it didn't shoot off on its own for a bit of sheep worrying..... Like Dan's does.... or so he says.......
just over 3 weeks and 9 of us will be riding around bonny scotland wooooo hoooooo, only doing a few days once i have been sure i will want to return later in the year..
