Does anyone know, or know where I can get the BS, RAL or Pantone references for the colours on the 2009 'Grey' which is actually the Midnight Blue/Silver bike with the gold wheels? It's the midnight blue for the tank that I really need please?
Actually, he's not on here a massive amount but I think he might have his company's website and email on here somewhere.
Hey guys! On my hols at the mo Star but what is it you actually want to do? Paint a tank cover or other parts in that colour? If I know what you're planning I might be able to give you some advice/help with out the need for a colour code. Paint wise motorcycle colour codes aren't that well supported by paint manufacturers and also if they were they are only matched as they see it so they're not always matched accurately e.g 4 paint manufacturers supply me with Honda NH1 an they'll all be different! An none might be accurate! Give me some more info mate an i'll try my best to help
Thanks for reply when your on hols, hope your enjoyong them. What I'm trying to do, is have a track superbike tank that would ordinarily come in white gel coat, matched as near as possible (not overly fussy if it isnt exact) to the original midnight blue colour; so ideally the tank cover chap (Huddersfield way) needs a RAL code for the pigment. Hope that's clearer?
Righto, finally got someone at a Honda dealer (sadly, not my local one, but one close enough, that will now be getting my future business) who was willing to help. Apparently according to the VIN # of the bike, Honda call the colour 'pearl siren blue' and the colour code is PB123EA. Does that makes sense and will it help the tank manf chap get the pigment for the gel coat, he was/is ideally looking for a RAL code?
