    dont like em had some for my gixer and never put em on. each to their own though!

    I thoroughly recommend them .. had them on the last 3 bikes and not caused any damage to my leathers

    Can anyone give me any tips to fitting these. I have a black tank and want to fit black grips. I,ve heard you have to heat them and the tank up and only do an inch at a time then leave em for a few days before using them....true??

    Clean the area your gonna put the pads with meths or de-greaser, then heat the pad and application area, slowly and evenly apply the pad so as to reduce and prevent air bubbles, one final blast of the hairdryer and a firm pressing then leave for 24 hrs to let the 3m adhesive cure and set, job done.. :cool:

    :mad::mad::mad:Very annoyed, got the grips out of the packaging to fit tonight and they are the wrong shape for the tank. Can anyone confirm that the 12 model is a different shape so that i know i,m not being a numpty. Tried them everyway round i can think of and they deffo wont fit.

    Yep, the tanks are a little different, and if it helps I know the techspec grips are different for the 08/11 and 12's.
