Stelvio pass: Tol nearly dropped it, he flicked his kill switch with his glove on a hairpin.... My flypast: Maxing out on the Autobahn, Craig filming:
Fooking mint mate loved all that! what a top ride bikes food everthing looks and sound spot on! One thing you old rich looky mofo!! haha
Haha, I wish mate! Saved up all year mate, first time off in 12 mths... And the best bit, it cost £1300 for the lot. Well cheap for what it was
Looked an amazing trip and you hit some fantastic roads. If there's anyone reading that who hasn't ridden in Europe, then PLEASE do so! Some of the best riding roads in the world, not to mention the food and drink! We stayed in Sirmione a couple of trips ago. Felt quite special riding up to the guard who checked our names on his clipboard before letting us ride across the stone bridge and through the narrow lanes to our hotel! Garda in the sunshine and heat is amazing, although the lakeside road is a tough exercise in heavy filtering in hot conditions and a complete nightmare if you're in a car! Btw, if you kept all your sat nav logs then have a look at uploadin them to EveryTrail.com as it makes an excellent trip journal to document your trip. You can upload pics and vids as well. (examples here and here). Would be good to see the best roads you took on a map, as we're looking to do more of Austria.
Nice one si, looks like a wicked trip one you wont forget. 5 weeks till my week long trip to Europe, taking in Germany / austria / switzerland and italy
Si, Big respect. Amazing write up and pictures, I doff my hat to you. I tried to look at this last night but phone signal is crap at the mo, so this does not get lost in the bowels of 1000rr threads before my return to civilisation I've just tottered off to the site office and parted with a whole £2 for a wifi voucher whilst it's still "hot" Seeing what you have done and the places you have been £1300 "excluding my wifi refund" is fantastic. Top show Si, I'm sure you have whet many more appetites to give these kind of trips a whirl? Hmm now where's my map or Europe?
