Not to ask too personal a question but can someone give me an idea what they paid for the ferry to the TT this year. Looking a rough guide for prices next year. From the mainland or from Belfast/Dublin.

And links or guides to B&Bs

Idea on price, I've been told this is a good place to book ferry tickets from and I also know many places have already gone for next year. So if your going book ASAP

Bry, if you're thinking of next year, you need to get on to the Steam Packet site ASAP as they're booking up already. Pay your £30 deposit & they'll tell you how much they want in Feb.

    I'm budgeting for c. £375ish.

Had a look on the steam racket website. I'm going on the 2nd June and back 8th June outta Belfast and back in via larne. I was going to budget for £210 for me and bike. There's 3 of us going.

Get it booked. I could only get out on 1st, back on 9th from Liverpool. Mrs. V is less than impressed. That's life.

We'll have to meet up on the island for a pint.

I'm gonna book my boat the end of this month. Then try and get a B&B somewhere in Douglas. Was gonna (be) camp but I've done enough camping over the years. Yes thats right I said that I'm CAMP....... Need somewhere to plug in my hair straighteners........

I'd book the boat ASAP, £30 to reserve a ticket.

Robbing gets. Its only 30 odd miles... I paid £270 last time... Never again on TT week, on principle. I will fly over instead.

Just looking on the TT forum for accom, everyone is looking a minimum of 7-10 nights @£40 pppn. Cheapest ones are a camel trek from Douglas and away from the prom. Anybody on this forum that lives on the island that wants to make a few pound, could act as a go between. Im sure there's enough of us on here looking to go next year.
Maybe the forum could book out a B&B between us. I'm sure an island based member could sort something out.
