I wouldn't bother with the DJ as it cuts the fuel.

The ones which cut the ignition feel better to me. Translogic are very good but the HM seems to get the most votes.

On a budget, the cordona works quite well.

    :)

If you want to keep your gearbox intact, use a HM shifter only, the dynojet ones are simply awful, as are the bazaaz ones, cordona are ok but prone to failure, the best shifter on the market is indeed the HM plus. Awesome bits of kit, send Arthur a PM as he is an HM dealer.

I had a HM it was good, got a BAZZAZ set up on the new bike and it was fantastic at donny, but only used it once so far!

If I was buying a stand alone unit it'd definitely be the HM one!!!

Having seen the inside of a bazzaz induced gearbox failure last week, i wouldnt ever touch it. wait till the Mk2 setup with a properly designed shifter. fuel cut is simply no good, you need ignition cut.

so how do you get to the conclusion it was the bazzaz? i assume it was in way the guys fault?,

i've used dynojet, techtronics, cordona in the past and found the bazzaz to be the best of them by far,IF SET UP CORRECTLY.

I got mine fitted by HM (with a power commander). Great piece of kit. It's set up for fast "race" changes so the cut out time is short but smooth at the top of the revs. If you try a mid range change it jars a bit but this could be fixed by extending the cut out time. If you get second hand make sure you get the instalation and set up sheet so you can tune it to your riding. No experience of other systems on a blade but my K1300S is very smooooth but has a long cut out time.

Kill times can be changed in secs with the HM 60-62ms is slick from 7k to around 10k, race shift up round the red line is down round 50-55ms. It's best for someone to show you or talk you through if neede then you can pull over change the setting and tune it for your riding style and type of use road or race. Or ask/call me or HM. I love mine and near all that use them love it, had one with a suspected faulty sensor but they changed free of charge out of warrantee then chap had the same problem turns out his big feet were messing with his poorly setup rear sets, don't quiet get people who buy rear sets then don't set them up....lol Oh well.....

I like the way the interupt can be changed on the fly by a bar mounted toggle switch on the Translogic. :)

Well I went hm from eBay, £200 complete with a 675 tri loom, add £50 for a new Honda loom and I'm up an running for £250 with a triumph loom to sell on... Bargain and I love it I think, at cadwell Monday for the first real test... Btw the tri loom is just a Honda loom with a plug cut off, you can still see the wire ends...
