Don't panic, nothing bike related... Was taken into a&e last year with suspected appendicitis only for them to take so long to decide it was that the rumbling had stopped and I was sent on my merry way. Yesterday it all started again, dragged myself to work this morning but got so bad I took myself to a&e and now in the assessment ward in robes and on a drip waiting for the surgeon, guessing they will remove this time. On a plus side i didn't have to go far as I'm in the hospital that we are refurbishing! My work pals are pissing themselves....
i know the feeling, been back 4 times in last month for shoulder related shit, looks like another op as the dosy barstewards anchored the ties to a previously broken rib, so i now have loose anchor points, a wobbly shoulder and cracked rib.
Not good dude!! It's bad timing to as work is mental, but I'm doubled over! My brothers burst and it nearly killed him... Had his guts open for a week and they hosed him out to rid the infection etc so you can't mess about with it otherwise Id carry on regardless. Hope they sort the shoulder out mate
Ouch Jimbo! Just make sure they remove the right bits, and you don't end up leaving the hospital as Julie Vills Fingers crossed for you & hope it goes well.
Ha ha v... In Chelsea Westminster which seems a whole lot better than the dump they call a hospital local to me. The nurses seem much friendlier too
Cheers ken - I'm fine thanks lol Not sure, but this nil by mouth is practically wasteing me away! Ha ha
Anything to help ey mate!! Poor old r1... Must admit takes some getting used to, she has a proper jlo rear end..
Im guessing your R1 hasnt had the recall done to prevent there owners from developing a grumbling apendix ? Its a well know fault you know
Of course if it was a Honda, they would say that galloping Peritonitis is to be expected after 1000 miles.
Lets have a couple of up-skirt shots of the nurses you crafty old dog. Nice timing with the weather as well. Hope you get out alive dude.
Cheers dude, problem is, like last time it's now been over 24 hours since it started and the pain is getting better.... So they might say they won't operate again. It's bullshit really...
Jimbo. Sorry to hear that fella. Timing is everything and as you probably know all the best doctors are on strike today. Don’t want to worry you BUT it might be a some spotty faced, worked 100 hours already this week house man wielding the scalpel. But don’t worry mate I am only about 3.5 miles away this afternoon so I can always slip over, borrow a white coat and take care of the operation for you, don’t panic, I was a dab hand last time I played that game Operation with the kids apart from the bloody buzzer of course.
