Some people are "glass half full" kinda people and some are "glass half empty" kinda people. Me, I just say your glasses are too big guys, do the research first.

My glass is full (mainly) i seem to have developed an attitude of don't worry about to much and deal with it when it comes that way you have more positives than negs (Doe's that make sense)?

    Good philosophy Mike.

I've always been a pessimist on purpose. That way I can only ever be pleasantly surprised.

    What he said ^^^^

My Mum, Dad, all Grandparents and an uncle were dead by the time I was 23. I think that'll bring out the pessimism in anyone :D

While you've all been debating wether the glass is half empty or half full, I drank it.

i ride until the 1st lot of salt goes down last two years its been 3rd week in november, the cold dont really both me, normally start again early March.

All i have ever done over the last 20 odd years is: fill the tank up/chain through ground anchor/up on front/rear paddock stands/ normally take the battery off but this blade came with a POXY alarm so no can do/ start her up every 2 or 3 weeks.

Just adding my little bit on the ACF 50 stuff, but I started using it at the end of last year and it is bloomin marvellous stuff. Swear by it now and swear at it when I accidentally got some on the brake discs. Apart from that, it is well worth it.

Where do you spray it? If that's not too personal a question?

In the garage mainly, after midnight whilst wearing............
Sorry. I cover the shock, nuts, bolts, switchgear, linkages, pretty much everything with the exception of plastics and brakes. Great stuff, but just use it sparingly. I did try FS365 (the Scotoiler stuff), but everybody loves ACF50. I use Farecla or Crystal Glo polishes on the plastics as i get it through work and reckon if it is good enough for a salt water environment, it must be alright for the bike. There is also a marine anti corrosion spray, which has been given the carefully thought out title of "Corrosion Gard". Brillian stuff, but forms a sticky residue, so all and sundry stick to it.

I have hardly been on the bike this year, due to me not liking the rain or the cold ... I'm hoping to get out more though, my putting away routine, involves these easy steps :
    1. Put kettle on and make coffee , cake is optional
    2. Move bike into position
    3. Watch Lewis prep it for winter, hopefully munching on cake and slurping coffee :)
