I got home after 8 weeks in Canada on Monday and have only managed one afternoon out on the bike, it calmed my withdrawal symptoms for a while but I've really got the need to go out but this f*$king weather!

It makes it worse because I bought a new lid yesterday that I'm desperate to try out and the sun keeps popping in and out promising to dry up the road and then it rains again.

It's not like there are any bikes on TV today either as I don't have sky, I'll have to watch the 4 wheel kind and then watch 'closer to the edge' again.

That must be killing you. i think if you go out you will catch a shower and the roads will be very cold so wont be offering much grip today. best stay in and wait. tomorrow is looking better i think

I've managed an hour out on bike and enjoyed it immensely. New helmet was great.

I've just treated mine to some more goodies but as for riding, it hasn't seen any action for 3 weeks now. Forgot what it sounds like TBH

Went out, just a few damp patches, nothing to worry about. Stopped for a cuppa, started back and it rained, got wet and dirty. Arrived home to brilliant sun shine, bloody typical. Still nice weather for cleaning the blade.

My bike is running like a bag of spanners at the mo, misfiring and hunting all the time. I went out at 1200 and had a cracking rideout and lunch with some SECB mates. Did you not go out coz it might be slippy or you might get yer bike dirty???

When I go out just for a blast I like to enjoy it and prefer not to get piss-wrapped and cold.

I don't have a car so my bike is my daily runabout in all weather.

I am not going to be popular here, as I stayed dry all afternoon on mine! A couple of damp patches, but sun and blue skies all day. And that is in North Wales where we do raining properly most of the time!
