Well it'll have to be now, won't it :D I'm not going to be the only one turning up looking like Stig 'o the dump :D

Are we cleaning leathers and polishing helmets too?

Yea, sat in front of telly watching it persist down....:(
Of course I could say I wont be coming. That way good fortune will smile upon you all, instead of my own personal black cloud which follows me everywhere enveloping everyone else.

Just been out over some of the route this morning I managed to cover 120 miles.
Travelled as far as Devils Bridge, I was going to go all the way round, but TBH I wasn't really getting on with the bike very well today. That coupled with the odd light rain, and when I checked my posture "as you do?" I was as stiff as a fookin board, where's all this tension coming from when riding?

Sounds like you are trying to hard today Gaz either that or to many pies! a bit of rain doe's that for us all so chill and lets hope its dry for sunday .If i may suggest a method of do or don't .If we have some dudes close to the route perhaps we leave it to them to give us the nod.Reason being if you picture Sunday morning there will be Si saying its cracking the flags in the wirral Fez saying light drizzle Gary saying just rained but looks like it could dry up later and so on, so there will be an hour of Computer carnage and it will end up in tears (comments plz) .

No probs my friend i have limited access to the computer at the moment so i plan to get in touch and firm up some plans Friday night/Sat from the Truck stop to the meet is about 40mins of pure boredom on the M6 average 70/80mph (Loads of unmarked )knocking about so it may be that we leave a little early (subject to Si) and meet near the East lancs and Tag onto the FIREBLOKE and let him lead us to the promised land.this is not a change of plan just another suggestion you could nip over Warburton bridge and we and any locals could then meet at the Holiday inn gates just over the M6 roundabout and then meet Si on the lancs and then arrange with the Firebloke a suitable spot.PS i would think inc me that 98% of jockeys have not met before so there should be no me and my gang issues just some new friends.

Nothing to bad Fez dressed a bit on the A6 from church town towards Garstang, everything else was normal.
You know Dead pheasants on your line big piles of shite left by tractors that don't clean off before leaving fields etc.

I agree Giv with people coming from different parts of the north we could end up with a difference of opinion on what's a suitable day for our area.
I think from your point of view if we are rained off your going to hit it on the way through?

I'm quite happy to meet you just off the M55/M6/A6 junction outside the Marriot you mentioned previously adound 9.30am we like to get to Caton for Breakfast around 10.15 this will leave us ample time to get to Hawes for the main meeting point.
This will suit Firebloke too coming from southport. Then we can meet Bats and Windy and go over Quernmore with them.

Just hope I do better than today :D

This depends on the time it would take and what route to the meet at the Marriot and of course if we collect the firebloke mid flight but the junction of the lancs and Rainford by-pass traffic lights would be good (i think)

I'm 47 miles away from the marriot. Using the m58 and m6 won't take long. The east lancs is littered with speed cams though?? Rainford by pass sounds good to me though dude, maybe the others can meet there?

My heads up my arse at the moment. The bitch has been back today while I was out, I got nowt to fcuking cook with now! Plus work is threatening to get in the way of my meticulously planned cobble together, aka 'rebuild'.....and my clutch is fucked, and tyres need swapping n balancing, and I just remembered my socket set got nicked, and my torque wrench....

    Need a brew........

It does sound complicated. the chances of us all getting there on time are very slim but at least of of you from the west coast area will all arrive at the same time...hopefully
