Tried loctite double bubble. Very similar to araldite. Same mix, consistency and.....er....taste. Really. Didnt work so tried cyanoacrylate super glue. Which reminds me........managed to tip the whole bottle down my trouser leg......farking hell, the fumes!! Couldnt get out of the garage quick enough!
Whats the stuff called you got mate?

Ouch, had not realised you owned a repsol - when did you come off? How is the recovery going? You up and around walking ok now?
btw - i didnt realise you could brake your toe in 7 places...

I fractured my toe afew months back when i came off my brothers RC8 - and that was bloody painfull...

You could always keep an eye on ebay - and pick up some original panels - they do pop up every now and then..

Your build finished? or how is the progress?

What a twat. Realised this morning van was due a mot. Took it up, walked half mile back home, had a butty n a brew then got the bike out and all the cleaning shit. Phone rings.....van failed. Split on inside of offside rear tyre. garage shuts 12.00. Its about 9 by now. put all the cleaning stuff back, chucked my lid on and rode to garage. Jumped in van and got a part worn fitted. Back to garage, biked it back home, thought stuff the cleaning, need to scrub the hoops in. Did about 30 miles and realised I hadn't had a woodbine for ages so pulled over, then realised I left my baccy at home. So down to the nearest shop to buy some. Having a nice smoke when I noticed my number plate was conspicuous by its absence. Bollocks. Rode back the way I came and found it. So I stuffed it down my leathers and slid to the nearest bike shop where I was given ( free) 2 new shiny yellow plastic nuts n bolts. Screwed it all back on and had another smoke while basking in the sunshine plotting a curvy tyre scrubbing route then it all went black, a roll of thunder and I was almost instantly piss wet through. So the hoops are still slippy and the bikes a filthy mess. May get a quick clean in morning before the forum meet, if I can be arsed.

well the bike held together, nothing fell off (even me) and it didn't fall over. :D
unfortunately, one of the zips bust on my jacket on the motorway on the way back home and i lost my new zippo. :(
    still, could have been worse.

    Hi Blaggers

Are you still looking to get your headlight repaired. If so you could give this guy a go. For the likes of a broken fixing lug on the headlight it will cost around £45. I take it he does it by plastic welding.

I'm going to give him a try with the headlight from my blackbird. All 4 of mine are snapped off.
