been and put a deposit down on a new (to me) car today. 2011 Ford Kuga titanium. White 4 wheel drive just one year old. £20K. Got £8k for my Sorento well happy.
Be interested in a review once you've lived with it for a bit Steve. Jeanette keeps saying she fancies a Fiat 500, so I keep hearing Rangerover sport. A Kuga could be an interesting compromise.
A mate of mine has just bought a new Kia Sportage and loves it. comes with something daft like a million year warranty and all that malarkey. Good build quality, goes well too.
I really wanted a black kuga back in jan....then I saw a white one and forgot about the black one all togeather but couldn't find a decent one for less than 26k which was out of my price range and no other colour was good enough so I bought an ex demo CRV and forgot all about the white kuga.......untill now!!!! Lol have you seen a white one with the individual kit? If you have maxed your budget then don't look
Hope you get better service from Ford than we do. Went from Honda to Ford and will be going back to honda. Ford Dealers in Bristol are not good at all.
I have had many fords in the past and have been very happy. The Kia I have now is also very good and I would recommend Kia also. Here is a cheeky photo of the car....
I drove it for around 40 miles today on twisties and motorway - very impressed. Its the power shift version too! I will let you know how i get on when i have had it a while Ken.
Fords are great, it's just unfortunate that, in general, main dealers are just so...slack. We had a Fiesta van at work and it was brilliant. Even thought about buying it myself when the time came, but the thought of me giving my boss money made me gag, but every time it went into the Ford dealers it came back with bits missing, which they denied being the cause. They're Mazda dealers too and I photographed the MX5 in huge detail before I let them touch the bloody thing. I had a Celica once and the service I got from the local Toyota dealer blew me away every time. That franchise has changed hands three times since then and they've still got a superb rep for customer service, which makes me think the factory must have an input, so there's a responsibility that needs to get passed back up the chain. The Peugeot dealers were crap, they lost the franchise and their replacement is no better. LOL, my mate fixes TVR's and prepares them for race and he's loved wherever he goes and the cars themselves are crap, so nothing's consistent.
This is the kit ford showed me and by the time you added other extras it was alot of cash but looks good
