    December 2009, the day before it snowed for a month. They cancelled the tests from the following day due to the weather, but it didnt stop me taking my bike out as i was eager to get out on my own.

    14th June 2002... recently celebrated my 10th anniversary by going for a nice blast... or I would have, but as its summer, I sat on the bike in the garage, staring at the rain, making "brmmm brmmm" noises!

    1987 I was 22 and I borrowed a kawizaki ae80 took my test and bought a Suzuki tl1000r in 2007? Well it took me 20 years to decide which bike to purchase?

    Kpone just pipped me by about six months, January 1979. It lasted all of about 20 minutes with the theory consisting of identifying 3 road signs.

    That's the chapee. He told me he was going to step out in the road and wave his clip board when he wanted me to do an emergency stop and then did it while I was still about 100 yards away. Nothing the cable operated front disc brake couldn't handle.

    passed part 1 week after i was 17 and part 2 2 months after in october 1988. pouring with rain on a ts125.

    Stood at different places on an estate if I remember rightly then walked alongside me while I had to ride at his pace without falling off. Heard a great story about one examiner jumping out in front of a bike, holding up his hand expecting the rider to perform an emergency stop and it was the wrong bike!

    Figure of 8 around Marsh Barton Industrial Estate for me. The guy could see me for about 80% of the route from one spot. He just stood on a wall and ticked his sheet every time I pretended to look over my shoulder.

    Did a Direct access course, with a CBT on Wednesday, a 2 hour lesson on the Friday, Theory test on Saturday and 2 hour lesson on way to the test center on the Monday! Passed 5th June 2007, then first trackday 3rd December 2007! Never looked back!
