Hi all, I havent been on here for a while and this was due to me watching the forum very closely to see if I had a small chance of finding someone selling parts of what used to be my bike. On the 23rd June I parked it at Beckenham Spa gym for a short while, when I came out there was a bid empty space where my beautiful HRC was standing, only thing left was an inch long piece of metal which broke off when they smashed the steering lock, it was alarmed but no one heard a thing, the killer is I was close enough to have seen it being wheeled away, I was near a window but as I was in a fitness class I didn't notice anything. Its amazing the feelings you go through for what is essentially metal and plastic, of course it is not just that though because it was a machine that I shared many amazing moments with and which filled my motorcycle passion, I am just so glad that I took it to this years TT and let it stretch its legs. It was the most amazing looking bike I have owned and even at the TT with all the top production bikes there it had a little crowd having a look at it when I returned from the paddock to do another lap. I dont wish anyone bad even those that do bad, I do wish they own something that they love and then have it taken from them just so they may possibly know what I may be feeling, of course they may not ever feel anything which is one of the side affects of not having a conscience. Anyway if you may happen to read this post know that you caused much stress and sadness in someone that just wanted to ride a bike that took 4 years to pay for and which you took all of 5 minutes to own. See you on the dark side. RIP HRC SV59 ODM Ride safe all
Bastards. As far as wishing them bad, I hope they leave the gene pool in a horrible way, and may it be long and lingering.. You are a more forgiving person than id ever be. I cant abide scum that nick stuff that has been paid for by hard slog and determination.
I feel for you Carlo. The same thing happened to me a long long time ago, leaving me with no way to work and no way to socialise with my friends and after I'd sold my soul to the finance company to own it, and it still leaves a very bad taste. I wish I had the intestinal fortitude you show in your magnanimity to the pond life that took your mate from you. Ken
Sorry to hear to that mate....... and i dread the thought of parts turning up on here.... having bought many bits from members never once did i ever think anything was stolen and even worse once belonging to another forum member........hope you get decent payout from insurance.
Jesus Sorry to hear about that, fella. As you rightly said at the end of the day it is just plastic and metal and it can be replaced but it's just utterly rubbish that some genetic leftovers has taken it. You're spot on. It'd be lovely to think that they'd have something they love taken away from them so that they can feel the anger and frustration that you're feeling. I think they'd need to have it happen to them as you need brains and morals to feel empathy. Something I'm sure they lack. Keep your chin up.
Bike ? Hi mate barney1 here , we have spoke a few times on tt forum , The bastards have not took the bike you went to tt on , and the one you Shot that video on ,scum bags bloody hell gutting , really sorry for ya ,
your a lot more forgiving than id be mate was gutted when mine got nicked, hope the bastards rot in hell!!!!
Sorry to hear this, Carlosoul. Members keep looking through the ebay ads for all the HRC parts, if a full set of fairing panels pop up contact the Carlosoul or the boyzinblue. Hopefully these these thieving scumbags will be caught.
Sorry to hear your story, it brings great sadness to me too in sympathy. Wherever I go with mine it does not leave my sight.Even at meets I cringe when people get too close to it because it's my baby. Nobody has the right to steal another persons belongings because it is wrong and degrading.I am not normally a volatile person but stealing anyones belongings gets my goat up.Times are hard even my work is not great but I would never think of stealing to put food on the table. Carlo I do hope you find two things 1 the scumbag and network to bring em to justice.2 another bike so you can move on and put this bad experience behind you.Good luck mate.
Sorry to hear about that, and I know that feeling but on a lesser scale, and it really does hit the pit of your stomach. I really hope your insurance company serve you well and enable you to look forward.
Yes as the title says SAD!. I have never lost a bike which would completley do me in but i have had two good cars nicked from outside two different houses so i know what it feels like. I wonder if these bikes or parts are heading abroard as in general the biking community is quite well knit and the main source of parts for the likes of us is Ebay and i would imagine not only are the poor dudes who have lost a bike but even the cops would have a team just scanning the pages all day. But for the rest of us this is yet another sharp reminder that your valued bike is NOT safe unless you can see it 100% of the time.
ha ha ha . the police looking for stolen goods on ebay.... not a chance, i have reported ebay fraud to my local cop shop .(£1000 worth) and all the waste of space copper said was "we dont deal with internet fraud, you will have to take it up with ebay." i had the thieving t**ts mobile phone number which i believe they can now track to see where you are , and also the bank account the money went into . i aint no copper but you need an address and proof of identity to set up a bank account. this is why i have no respect for the police when they pull us over for exhausts etc.
Gutted for you, they thieving cnuts should be hung, drawn and quartered. Just hope that things work out for you insurance wise.
Slowr1der on here is selling his HRC currently, might be worth a look. edited to reflect that i didn't mean he's had the parts away lol, i meant if you were going to buy another one
Sorry to here about this man. Your dealing with it all very well by the looks of it. It really does turn my stomach reading things like this. Hopefully you will get it sorted via insurance company. Good luck
Very sad to read this thread and I have seen he bike in the flesh as well and it was a great looking bike. Mel just for a minute there.................
Your attitude does you credit Carlo and proves beyond doubt you're a better man than they are. Personally, I'm not in the slightest bit competitive and would admit to their faces than I'm no better than they are while laughing at the skin being peeled of them.
