Can anyone explain to me the difference between the RR-N & RR-P other than one is made 1992 and the other 1993? The difference is obvious, albeit subtle, between the RR-N & RR-R, but I'm struggling to see any difference in the RR-N & RR-P.
There must be someone on here Major but its a little late and all the southern boys will be tucked up and dreaming.
Treading water, more like? This may beyond some of the mighty minds here and require an audience with Arthurbikemad or Masterblader or perhaps our own version of Shrek, Megawatt.
Well another sleepless night thinking of the meaning of Fireblades, sorry I ment life! I've had it suggested it was only the colour scheme choices that were different. Any experts out there able to help, cuz the lack of sleep is killing me. P.S. Sorry If I offended any shandy drinkers last night, those Alcopops go straight to my head
As i realised that the donkeys that turn the treadmills in the power stations up north would all be in bed by then and youd be relying on your camp fires to survive, I had a bit of a google in the early hours on your behalf (Cinzano takes ages to settle on my stomach), and it seems that all the generally published specs are the same. It might just be internal tweaks that only come up in workshop manuals. I tried to find a contemporary road test of the P, as that's where it will usually give the "an improvement on last years model is the..." spiel, but couldn't find one. Sorry
They are the same my friend. The RRN is 1st gen, 1st year (92). The RRP is 1st gen, 2nd year (93). This is mine (might be for sale soon).
Hold the press I think we are wrong!! RRN - 1992 white/blue and red going in to orange stripes. RRP - 1993 white/purple with red going in to blue stripes.
Apparently there is a sticker under the riders seat which tells you which model and colour code it is. Gosh you learn something every day.
1992-93 were the same generation the only difference I can recall was colour change and graphics like a purple passenger seat cover. There was no difference to engine or the electrics. 1994-95 saw many changes
