My Ducati had the knack of being able to talk me around whenever we had "words". It would just say something like "How do you fancy a run across Dartmoor?" and within an hour I'd forgiven all it's indiscretions. When I wrote it off, my mate said how much he'd miss the "old tractor".
I went to school with that Chap only ever had the best from a very young age first to have a FS1E etc always seems to find the best bikes as well like Ducati with very low miles in mint condition. Has the same first name as me.
A friend of mine went to see it. He said it was mint & had lots of bling, but the security keycard was missing & there was some kind of colour change issue (may have been red originally - can't remember). He has since bought another which I rode a few weeks ago. I hated the looks, but they have grown on me. It was okay to ride, but not as fast, smooth or comfortable as a blade. It has to stick to 1st & 2nd gear in town; any higher & it wanted to self destruct. They have a known issue of stalling when coming to a stop or selecting neutral - I found this & it was a pita but I understand it can be fixed. Buckets of character & gets lots of attention; I would have one for that. I hope to be taking his around Oulton Park next Tuesday if it stays dry.
Will be cool to try it on track, stalling can be fixed by tps calibration they also benefit massively from a power commander and custom mapping but be sure they map both cylinders independently of each other or there's no point. A lot of owners down gear them for around town.
There was one at the Midway last night and looked mint . On starting up it did not sound as tractor like as my mates when he starts his ,His sounds like the battery is going flat then it kicks in and shakes itself silly but doe's sound awesome.
