Hi, i'd like to get my near 5 year old more interested in motorbikes but don't really have a clue where to start. When i say interested, ideally i mean riding them, but if not possible at this age then perhaps watching other kids do it. Googling has flushed out pit bikes and meetings that tend to happen at illegal chalk pits and stuff, but I cant believe thats all I have on offer. What about mini-moto stuff and tarmac riding? I would be interested to hear from anyone who has done this and if they have any suggestions where to start exploring this. One thing is for certain is I don't want to throw too much money at this in case he shows no interest or aptitude. BTW, i'm in sussex if its useful to know that when recommended places. cheers guys
PeeWee 50 or CRF50 and get him out there my Daughter started at 3 with training wheels on at 5 2009 - October :: Angel-mx04oct2009.mp4 video by djstratton - Photobucket at 6 at the kart track her new bike at 7
Thanks, min age is 7 but that is nearby so would def be a good place to go watch and drum up some interest.
Nice one Ken, I am having Jack come to stay with us at the end of August (assuming the ex says yes) and this would be right up his street, he is 16 and never ridden a motorcycle but wants to give it a go. The ex wont let him have a moped on the road or even go on the back of mine so this would a great way of introducing him to bikes. Thanks matey
Just put him on the back of yours and swear him to secrecy with the promise that if his mother finds out he'll never get to have ago on his own
