Scorpion exhaust burbling like a V4!

    As title!
    Went out with a mate sunday and it's been first run out with him since fitting the scorpion.
    He said it sounds like a V4! Sounded like it was firing in a different order compared to a normal inline four. I'm running with baffle out!
    I did notice quite a bit of blackish soot on the cone of the exhaust when I got home.
    Anyone else running this exhaust and feel the same?
    I can hear it at lower revs even more so when bike lent over on right hand side.
    The bike runs smooth with plenty of power.
    No real oil usage as I have checked.
    Any ideas or is it just me worrying over nothing?

    worrying over nothing my friend, a mates vfr1200 sounds like one as well with a scorp fitted. so he sais anyway i think he's a bit of a twat to be honest.

    I think it's just that with an open pipe you can hear the firing pulses easier

    I think we all have them, a friend who's a twat if you haven't then perhaps the twat is you :confused:
