Cheers... their website didnt seem to work too well in my browser, so gave up.

Cheers... tons of customisation, worked great... ordered an 8x6 with "GB" and black border :)

I get mine at a big market up the road they are £9 and always done well

Slightly off topic question, why do they make the newer blades with number plate hangers that look like they are made for an underseat exhaust? Is there any actual reason or just the design?

Chrome... was trying to select a "badge" and the screen wouldn't refresh to show the list of available badges... and its a good £4 more expensive than yourplates.co.uk.

Any-hoo, ordered now... will let you know what the quality is like once it arrives.

Hmm, works fine for me in Chrome.

Not had a plate from yourplates so can't comment on them but looking at the comparative designs I prefer the bike-plate one as the border is around the whole thing and the badge is less intrusive, but that's only subjective opinion, of course. It's not as if you spend your time looking at it!

On the yourplates site, one of the customisation options is to specify how the border is done.
By default, it surrounds only the reg itself, leaving the GB badge out on the left by itself... looks stupid... but you can select the border to be "outer" (or something) and then the border surrounds the whole thing... thats what I've gone for.

Ah, cool. Be interested to see what you think of the quality then, as might use them next time.

I used this place for the last plate I brought: My Showplates

Not the cheapest but quality was good and I liked the fact the back of the plate was black and not the usual white/silvery colour.

    Got done last year.
Essex Police had a purge on the 'letter box' style number plates, I had a 7" x 2.5"
£60 fine and letter from DVLA asking me to produce photographic evidence, of legal size plate (with post code of maker) within 28 days, or else bike would be re registered with Q plate !
Now have 8" x 6" good boy plate, but looks shite !

Not long if you don't put the letters and numbers back Rob.

And it's a myth that peeing on your tyres make them grippier mate.
