So I never had a problem with other bikes but finding the blade to be rather hard on the ass :eyebrows:

So other than the Comfort seat e-Cushion?from Honda (anyone have it?)

What else can I get for my week trip over to France/Spain etc..

    any suggestions?

I see power bronze do i seat to match most hondas .I tried to work out if there was a bit more paddind (Just by looking at the photo) but its hard to tell.Strangley i have just traded a ZZR1400 which had a wopper of a seat with thick padding and yet the blade with its wafer thin bit of Padding is more comfort ?Beats me!

I've got the gel seat (Honda make) and at first you don't think there's much difference but over a touring trip it's definitely worth it. The profile is similar to the stock seat so I don't even bother swapping them back after trips now.

Will be glad of it again on my hoik down to Misano in a few weeks..! :woot:

If you out and buy a copy of MCN and look in the trade adds section there is a company offering a rep adding service while you wait. they use gel etc to make a very comfrtable saddle whilst retaining pretty much the same thickness of the OEM seat

worth a look as if i remember correctly it is half the price of the E cushion

I got a Honda Gel seat last year when I was doing quite a lot of miles each day. Definitely made a difference and it fits in well with the blade's look. I still get a sorse arse after about 1 1/2 hrs and need to get off for 5 mins or so - but that's coz its a sportsbike eh?

I've got the e-cushion seat - it's phenomenal. Way better than the standard seat (used to get a numb ass after 150 miles).

Yes they're expensive, but keep an eye on eBay. I got mine for £105. Alternatively, you could always get your seat re-covered with gel inserts?

It aint just the newer ones either. My RR2 takes special delight in punishing my arse after about an hour and a half in the saddle. I've got a trapped sciatic nerve which I first assumed was the issue until a mate with an identical bike put me right.
