After lots of looking picking up a top spec Kia Sorento as of next week. Huge step up from my 7 year old Santa fe I have which has been great Needed a 4x4 as I'm taxi for work even I the snow for staff and having to tow a twin axle caravan a few time a year it should be man enought for that Well pleased
Will be well up to the job Remal. Is it this one? http://www.caravantimes.co.uk/news/towcars/kia-sorento-wins-best-towcar-award-at-caravan-times-readers-poll-2010-$21379262.htm
Spot on for the money. I considered trading the X-Trail in. But just throwing a good car away. Still not done 30,000 yet. Regular service pulls like a train. Not quite the 85% rule but well capable.
Dark blue and yea can't wait. My Santa fe only has 28k but is 6 and a half years old plus is rather basic compared to most cars today. So going to have fun with the Bluetooth and all the other gagets. And with 194bhp and 311 lb ft of torque will pull our caravan without any issues
We have a Kia Sorento too Remal, the KX3 Auto. I never thought it would be any good but after a test drive we bought a pre reg with good discount. The Mrs works in London and wanted something quick off the line, it does shift off the lights! We looked at all sorts, nearly bought a Q7, a Merc GL350, SMAX etc, but value for money with the 7 year warranty sold it to us. It's a lot of car for the money compared to the rest of the class. The KX3 has a good stereo too, Alpine class D amplifier and sub built under the passenger seat with 7 speakers as standard.
i just got rid of my 4 year old Sorento. Great car! build quality and finish was very good. I looked at the new Sorento but ended up with a KUGA. The new Sorento looks great and is superb value for money. Enjoy!
