Ken, I've seen a few pulled recently, they are being checked for being over weight etc, there's no wonder they jack knife with all the weight some expect them to tow. I know the law changed to try and clamp down on poor driving, think its anyone with a licence from 1997 has to take a test. But there's a flaw, personally anyone that's towing something that exceeds the 350kg that requires brakes should have to take a test. Motor movers. Don't get me started, why would you want to fit something else to your caravan to drive the fecking think into a space? You've already got a bloody car to do that! I witnessed in Windermere the other week, a guy turned up with a range rover on a 61 plate and a brand fire new box, he made no attempt to reverse it, he said to the warden, ooh it's a bit tight to get in I'll use my motor mover, bloke said pointing to me, well he got in no problem, and he did it in one. To sum it up, it took him 25 minutes to get it onto his pitch. And it was still on the Pi$$. All the gear, no idea lol
