Well have been thinking about it for a bit, case of getting to old for a sportsbike, need to slow down, want something a bit more comfy etc etc. I have loved the time i have had with the blade awesome bike one of the best i have had and trust me i have had a few over the years.

Had a half day so popped in to local triumph dealers and have done a mega deal on a brand new speed triple in white.

i paid £7500 for my blade and 3800 miles later £100 less and i keep the goodies that where on the bike when i got it I.E can and seat cowl.

£600 and my bike they had knocked £1000 off it and fitted a fly screen/bellypan £300.

    See for sale section.

I agree, really good bike with lots of low down grunt but the wind blast for me is unbearable. My friend has one with the fly screen and belly pan in carbon black and I've ridden it a few times, get up to 80ish and you're hanging on for dear life! Very comfy though at cruising speeds.

My mate made similar trade... swapped his Ducati 1098S for a brand spanking 2011 Speed Triple... with Arrow cans, belly pan and fly screen thrown in.

Fabulous bike, great fun to chuck around, and stacks of lovely torque..... lovely looking thing too!

i'm not small, just wondering with the similar flyscreen how this can make it feel completely different.

I loved the old 2005-2010 models but would not myself buy the new design. just hate the lights and daft plastic side pods on the rad.

Do make sure you post some pics of the new bike up and give us a review on your feelings of it

Just out of interest did you ever consider the Kawasaki SX1000 ? Similar to the ZX-10 but with the upright riding postition etc ?
