My Honda hugger just doesn't look right on the bike. This is the painted one not the original small plastic one.

When looking at the bike from the rear the left side of the hugger his higher than the right.

    Anyone else have this issue.?

Now phantom, I had this on my second hand one I bought off the bay, I bet if you unbolt it from where it's mounted on the chain guard , it'll allow it to move down thus making it sit square when viewed from the back. If yours is the same get back and I'll tell ya how I sorted mine if your stuck.:)

I know what you mean, it does look a bit like that although it may be an optical illusion?

Right, what I did was cut the bugger off! (the lug that bolts to the chainguard )Then attached some heavy duty Velcro to the hugger cleaned up the inside of the swing arm so it'd stick good lined up the hugger so it looked square from the back then pushed the Velcro into place. Voila. Jobs a goodun. Did this about 1500 miles ago and it's not budged a bit . Hth

Hmm, don't think i want to cut it. I think with some strategic washers on the opposite bolts I can remount it perfectly. Don't fancy Velcro holding a hugger on near a rear wheel on a superbike! Thanks though.

    Hi mate

Does the hugger fit ok without the chainguard. If so I would do as you say and add a packer/washers to the same thickness as the guard to the other side to level out the hugger.
