Right the other day I took my dash appart to see how easy it was to Change the led colour, i took it to pieces decided I can't do it and put it back together, now I think I must of put the needle back in wrong as I now have the needle I 0 position when ignition off, turn key the needle goes all the way up and back to stop on 3.5k (engine not running)
Any one know an easy solution?
Yes I know the obvious solutions like don't take your dash apart etc !
I know they are coming lol

Yea basically I had to take nose back off  take of dash and remove dash glass, I then tried to put the needle at 3.5k and wind it back and that didnt work it just bounced back up!
At this point the old fuse was getting shorter and shorter!
So I then thought what if i plug dash back in turn ignition on and prize the needle back off with my spoons, but then I thought will that electrocute me?!?!
Then I thought fcuk it if I fry myself I can't kick the bike over out of stress so I gave it a go. With ignition still on I put needle back on in the 0 position and it worked!
I'm a genius lol now it's all bolted back
    Together again nose back on.
Job done, thank fcuk I sh1t my self a bit there

lost count how many times I had mine apart.
I fitted accent led's all round the swingarm and
engine bay so it looked very trick at night.had
to pull the faring off totally to do that, think I might
do it to my new blade too.

    Mine's an 07 mate,

My gear indicator is orange, to match the standard clocks lol

This is the only other place I've seen that does colour changes for the cluster, but you'd have to send them off to the US:
    Honda CBR1000RR Gauge Backlighting - Bluegauges.com
