although I cannot make this, few thoughts about the gopro ... just remember what it can record i.e. evidence the police can confiscate if needed Also, having the camera rear facing (very easy to fit on blades with mount behind rear seat and 90' connector) you get good footage, You need to plan a little, i.e. if rear facing let camera bike go first, then let people follow bike for a short while, then overtake and let following bike get on camera - also with go pro's you need to be close to get size, unless its an HD2 where you can amend the field of vision. https://vimeo.com/19629121 Password 'france2010' That has a good mix of forward and rear camera
i like that thought, who ever has the go pro fitted sets of 2nd behind thefirebloke then just lets all the other bikes pass by after each person has been behind for a minute or 2, then everybody gets on camera (nearly) and as its rear facing the should be no problems with the plod seeing the footage
Also - for route, I would not go to Sedbough from Hawes, but take the right hand turn by a white pub and follow this route Hawes, North Yorkshire, UK to Brough, Cumbria, UK - Google Maps Be warned, there is a small meadow section by a river (cattle grid each side) - after second grid road has an awesome series of hump back 'ridges' and at 60+ you can get fully airborne 2 or 3 times in a row...funny to watch bike in front do this time after time, as you do the same...
this film has footage off new HD gopro https://vimeo.com/34467327 Password 2011Wednesday SHorter than previous film at 45 mins but same route - have a watch and think what works best - also there is LOTS of editing of footage to make that film

No travel plans for others will be affected as he meeting zone is the East lancs .Have a good day boys and Laydee's and loads of photos please.
So long a my replacement speedo sensor arrives in time, i'm not that good at guessing legal speed limits .............
Lee, get an app for a smartphone to tell you speed, or just ride at the back and make sure you are slower than everyone else... Just a quick note, if you are using the GOPro for a time, please make sure you wait for the thumbs up from the operator of the camera - only takes a few seconds to get it running / at right angle, but if you all fook off when rider not quite ready its really hard for them to catch up to film - If GoPro rider filming with forward facing camera have them start at back, then let them pass each rider after filming for say 30 seconds - 1 minute - they can then work up the line - just arrange to do this on a few sessions.. not all or its a ball ache. I've used one for years on the road with good results - and good luck editing the footage down to 10 mins after you have it all - no small task - plus integrate still shots, maps of route, titles, music etc. for a proper job!
