It's not just the coming of and looking back down the road to a trail of your own skin, how do you change gear In flip flops it's a little uncomfortable in soft trainers!

I've got wide feet and have found that Sidi, Alpinestars and Dainese all pinch my feet. I actually have to go up a size in order to get my feet in. No such problem with TCX (or Oxtar as they used to be called). As comfy as slippers despite the heel TCS system thing. When it comes time for another pair of boots I'll just be going for TCX again.

Daytona gtx. A bit dull in style, but give loads of support with a 2 piece boot combo.

TCX for me - Sidi too narrow and overpriced - my TCX boots were as comfortable as slippers on their first trip out and a fantastic price online from the old George Whites. However, they do squeak a fair bit!!

So far this year I've bought new gloves, Helmet and today a pair of Alpinestars SMX Plus in white with red/black from hein gericke for £160.99 reduced from £240 (but have seen them elsewhere for £230)

I put them on for my ride home and I have to say that they are far comfier than my old Sidi Vertebra's.

Popped in to HG - they don't have much left - mostly there own brands..

did want to try these on for size but they did not have it...also smx plus but look different to yours! but cheap..

they also said they are doing web refunds - but incase they are not around later it can be taken up with paypal and cc company...

I am a size 6 - so hoping a euro41 will fit ok.. i have the goretex 40 but they are too tight!

ALPINESTAR SMX PLUS BOOTS - RED *REDUCED TO CLEAR* | eBay

i didnt really like the plus as there is too much to do to get them on...but for the price i guess i cant complain!

Euro 41 is a 7.5 UK size, so should be plenty of room, I would have thought?

A 41 is at 7-7.5, according to this:

although other tables show it to be a straight 7.5. Better to get a size up in boots as I was flittering with a 43 but settled on a 44 for comfort, and I'm a 9.5.
