i love my RSV4 they are one of the best off the floor track bikes you can buy , great fun to ride and the V4 sounds lovely i have my for my track bike here in Jakarta indonesia , i leave my CBR at Sepang in Malaysia get the Akra and trim it a little for the factory look
Love what you have done to your bike Shanes, like you say they are great fun to ride and the sound is very addictive Looks like a Akrapovic might have to turn up soon !!
mine just has the Akra that i shortened 150 mm , ECU re flashed with the latest race maps , 520 kit 15/42 gearing , rear sets , crash bungs , R&G case covers , billet brembo master and some race glass fitted , the standard factory suspension is not to bad and with a turn here and here and adjusting the springs it works good enough for a play bike . great chassis they harder you push it the more it likes it , V4 makes lovely power and ha great mid corner and exit grip , very stable on the brakes overall a very good package
Shanes, I took the RSV4 APRC Factory and the BMW S1000RR for test rides when I was looking to change from the Blade and I eventually went with the Beemer. I thought the chassis on the Aprilia was awesome but the engine, although strong, wasn't as good as the Beemer or the Blade which were a lot smoother in comparison. Plus it was tiny and I'm a fat bloke (16st) so it looked even smaller when I put my fat arse on the seat
