I have switched to michelin Power 2cts and love them. They are just as happy on track as on road. Run them at 36 front and 42 rear, but drop it to 30/31 front and 29 rear for a dry track day.

Pilot powers but not 2ct's - £50 cheaper and soft enough without dual compound

I have always used Bridgestone BT023's - great in the wet and dry...

Last pair was fitted for i think £210..

Though i have got 2CT's on my Repsol - these came on the bike and they feel like a great tyre - not really used em in the rain though - but they are a sport tyre and would not last as long as the Bt023's...

I commute, so BT023s are more suited for my needs..

    Well better update this!

Bridgestone S20 are on and excellent. By far the best tyres I've ever ridden on. Off to the ring next week so will give proper feedback after this!

The oe fitment qualifiers where crap and would advise anyone to get then offstraight away, had a big slide on them last Tuesday, warm night, shell grip surface proper pressure!!!!

I had the power pures on track yesterday at 30/30 and only had 2 moments and both were in the wet but were my own fault. In the drying/dry track they were solid and predictable. I'll be buying another pair to replace them.

OK Lets be honest. How do you ride????? I ride hard with a lot of mates. my Blade is an 06. my mates are on 07 GSXR 1000, brand new Pannigale Tricolore (and he's a loon) 848, 09 blade, 09 GSXR 750 and 08 ZX 10. I have recently (300 miles ago) fitted new S20's. They warm up quick and give good feedback into whatever you chuck at them. My bike is a toy. I dont give a fuck if they only last 2000 miles what is important is that the only thing between you and the deck is the rubber you're running. Bridgestone for me have always been a bit of a Marmite tyre (love 'em or hate 'em) but without a shadow of a doubt I will be replacing these with the same.
Next knee down play time I will recorded and will upload on here. I honestly can not rate these tyres high enough but remember what others have said. If you have had no issues with what you're running you will rate them But like I said at the start of this. HOW DO YOU RIDE. Fireblades when all said and done are not commuters. They are balls out sportsbikes.
Come and ride with me in Norfolk for a while. Will show you what the S20's can do.
Hope this helps. Or just confuses the issue even more.

Most of the guys I've ridden with on here are quick, and most of them will prob say their own choice of tyres are great for them, all different brands.
Come out for a ride with the northern lot, and we'll show you how well our tyres work for us.....;)
