well I will say one thing, the batteries on phone's have definitely improved.haven't put this phone down yet at its still on its first charge.
The s3 battery is superb Best bit is for ~£20 you can have a second battery and desk charger so you never need to charge your phone again
Yep, I'm messing with mine constantly, with data connection almost permanently on... it still massively outlasts my old Desire... amazing stuff.
I Just love the way Apple gear just works and works well. My vote is for wait for Ipone 5 see how much they cost then choose Iphone 5 or cheaper 4s
I just can't bring myself to get involved in the whole Apple thing. I think that they treat their customers like babies. The whole iTunes / App store thing just gets on my nerves. I'd resent buying an mp3 and not being able to use it on various devices. Also the fact that you can't get into the phone to take the battery out just doesn't make sense to me. In the past if I've been on business trips I've taken at least 2 batteries for my phone so that I can watch movies etc and when the battery gets low just pop in a fresh one. The final nail in the coffin has been this legal battle with Samsung. Apple claimed to have invented the iPad years after Microsoft came out with the tablet PC. The company's already the richest around and trying to shaft Samsung for a billion dollars just makes me mad. I hope they get their comeuppance some day.
My mate jail broke his iPhone last week and I was messing around with it, as said here before that's the only way to go with the iPhone IMO, think I will do the same with my iPad. My missis got the new LG yesterday, feels a bit cheap but quad core, ace screen, very light and the apps are super fast!
Yep its a great idea, especially for the pub! My new Debit Card has the NFC stuff built in anyway, so dont really see the need to have it on my S3 also.
Im thinking for the times you sometimes forget to lift your wallet.few times I have forgot to lift mine but always seem to remember to grab my phone......maybe its because I play temple run when im bored
well the new iPhone5 has been announced and I want one now ! Looks absolutely awesome. One thing I love about Apple products is the build quality and feel of the phone. You pick up the samsung galaxy phones and they feel plastically and cheap - to me anyway. Roll on release date - i'll be a sad muppet queing lol Apple (United Kingdom) - iPhone 5 - The thinnest, lightest, fastest iPhone ever.
I'd like one and am due an upgrade next month but to be honest, I'm really happy with my iPhone 4 and I'm going away in march for 6 months so no point updating until I return.
I had the streaming of the new iphone 5 on last night but had to go to Exeter so could not watch it. But will be going to now look at the 5 or S3. I like the looks from what I have seen of the Iphone 5. Just comes down the monthly pricing and what they can do for me
maybe the trained eye knows the difference but it looks identical to all the other I-phones to me? can you change the battery on this one or do you need a screwdriver set handy.
It's 1cm longer, ~20% thinner (depth not width) and 20% lighter so you won't really notice the difference until it's in your hand. Personally I'd have preferred not to have the longer form factor as it's big enough as it is but the weight-loss would be welcome. No reason for me to upgrade from the 4 until giffgaff get nano-sims and O2's LTE network up and running.
oh right so unless you have owned an I-phone you wont really tell the difference look wise.....so im not so much a dumbass lol
From the other forums I go on ... and facefook the general option towards the iSheep 5 is "Meh" It appears they have done nothing special .... The specs haven't really caught up with the competitors and theirs no massive change to iOS. I wonder what Steve Jobs would have thought of this fairly bland offering
rumour has it Job's had already planned this a few more releases before his death, so this is all still his legacy
I think the same, bland and a poor update... Tbh I've found smartphones have been much the same for years and the iPhone has always been behind the rest IMO. Never quite understood what Jobs went on about as phones I used were and have always been more powerful and more functional than apples, ok in the early days apps for iPhones were more so but not any more that's for sure, that said some of the early Nokia smartphones I had were ace and let's face it the only apps worth having are those that help you intergrate with the rest of the world apps like jogging trackers mean nothing to me.. I think the new iPhone looks poor and weak when other smartphones are a blaze with speed and apps.
I know gif gaf has been mentioned and was thinking if I bought a iPhone 5 and the £10 for 250 mins, unlimited date and texts it may be a lot cheaper in the long run for me. But I know little about this company? What do i need to do to keep my number? hidden charges? I have 500 mins, unlimited texts and 1 gig of data at the moment but it's too much. 250 mins, unlimited texts and would only need 500 mg of data. So for £10 this deal sounds too good to be true? Also whats the o2 network like? only used Orange and now Vodafone
