Cheers fellas, if you are interested in either Brands Hatch or BIKER DOWN then e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll get back to you with with more info and booking details, more can also be found at Kent Fire Bike | Facebook As promised a pick or two of the Blade. The team and the Blade with a shoot we did with Charly Borman, what a nice bloke. I'm 2nd from left.
What colour scheme did the Blade start out as??? Gold rims might be a hint... Can't be black and gold, as the frame is black... What else had black frame and gold rims? HRC comes to mind but....... Winning Red??
The Bike is Black the colour scheme is achieved by a Vinyl wrap which was done free by one of our sponsors. Apparently the Vinyl wrap can be removed leaving us with a nicely original black blade underneath.
Welcome The biker down training seems a really good idea, do you know if there is anything in the Hampshire area?
Not yet but my colleagues in the Hampshire Fire Bike Team are aware of it and may introduce it in that county in the future, it is just starting to grow and gain more and more National recognition. if you see the Hampshire boys at an event mention Biker Down to them, there's nothing like word of mouth advertising and if they hear that Bikers in Hants want it they'll be more inclined to start it!
There are no bike nights left down here this year, I think. But the Devon & Somerset fire bike guys are usually around for a few. I'll definitely bring the subject up with them on the first one of next season's that I see them at.
I can see Mr Firebike hasn't been on for a while but in case he still visits. IVE BOOKED! Been fancying doing this for ages, and if you check out the itinerary it sound bloody good value, looking forward to this. Anyone else fancy it? Kent Fire & Rescue Ride Skills Day - Monday 11 Aug 2014
