Hello from the States

    Hi all! Lets see I'm from Oklahoma, Ride a 08 1000rr, also had an 07 r6 that I love as well(miss that bike on the twisties). I'm all about performance mods and my bike last saw the Honda dealership the day I bought it, I like to do all my own maintenance and mods. My bad for not saying hi before posting elsewhere(rude American) ha! Lets see we have plenty of mountains, hills, and twisties here in southeast Oklahoma, it makes for some beautiful riding although not near as good as UK I'm sure!

    Hi and welcome to the forum.

    I'm guessing that by 'performance mods' and your talk of twisties your not talking the usual American mods of longer swing arms, obnoxious paint jobs, policed everything and nitrous oxide :mad:

    Has anyone mentioned photos yet ;)

    You got that right. I don't do bling, no race gas just so I smell cool, never lower or "stretch" a bike, if it has chrome I don't want it! I road race at Hallett (a small circuit here in Oklahoma). Most people here thing road racing is racing on the street. And that's what brings me here to 1000rr.co.uk :)

    You mentioned Europe, Misconception mate this is the United Kingdom a proud island race. Land of the brave. If I had my way we would have sod all to do with the European money sucking Euro leaches. Sink the ferry’s, flood the tunnel and only allow the French wine shipping into our ports.

    Welcome to the forum and sweet looking blade. Loving the colours. We nee some pics of the roads u enjoy also.

    Nice to see a tidy modded blade. As others say we only seem to get info on the US bike screen that's either occ/ Harley or mad long swing arm drag sports bikes. Not just people that enjoy trqckdays and tidy mods that are not over the top
