Just read that we will not see him next year! So no one will have to worry about him moaning when things aren't going right.
Still 3 times world champion I think so good on him

I don't like him and Sykes deserved to win!
You have to respect his riding though.

+1 on that JM1 and it's 6 times world champion plus a number of runner ups, raced against Doohan and won his first 500 GP outing, two things even Rossi didn't do.

As has been said...SIX times world champ.... 4 x 250cc titles and 2 x WSBK titles.

And he has gone one better than the flopter anyway and gone out on top.

Couldnt beat the flopter though mate? and didnt go out on the top really, quit motogp because he couldnt win and went to a lesser class, sure Rossi, lorenzo or stoner would smash wsb if they converted...

cant take nothing away from him though - great rider.

Biaggi was good in his day but nowhere near the motogp riders of today. On a 250 he was bloody quick.A true 2 stroke legend in my book.

Sorry, but thats tripe. the guy beat DOOHAN, yes that M Doohan, the GOAT.

won his first 500 race, and some would say gt stiffed by yamaha after he & barros had done the majority of the work to get the M1 going good...

He has the best looking style IMO, except when he keeps outbraking himself and hitting the gravel :)

He is IMO one of the greats, he has lasted in the sport longer than most and still comes up with the goods time and time again, that said I'm not a big fan, but as with stoner I can appreciate pure talent when I see it :)

reportedly notoriously difficult and demanding to work with, that is why the works premier class teams would not have him back so he went to WSB. Still one of the smoothest riders ever on a track, as with all sports people they come and go. I for one will miss watching him race but i miss many of them. I remember back to the late fifties (just) as i have followed racing on track on two and four wheels all my life. It is very few who become multiple world champions and retire at 41 unhurt and very wealthy and still being offered a place in BSB ?
